Examples of my work

Since November 2010 I have worked with a wide variety of institutions.

  • The Cambridge Theological Federation, helping members of their academic staff to transform their face-to-face modules into an online and blended learning format (using Moodle)
  • The College of Preachers, working alongside their executive team, advising, guiding and supporting them as they transform a range of paper-based modules into an electronic format (using Moodle)
  • The working party of the Theological Education for the Anglican Communion conference for Principals of Anglican Training Colleges, worldwide. I gave a presentation at the conference, and subsequently contributed to discussions about developing a range of distance learning modules for the Anglican Alliance
  • The Department for Continuing Education at Oxford University, in the Technology-Assisted Lifelong Learning (TALL) unit, working as a researcher with the JISC-funded 'Visitors and Residents: What motivates engagement with the digital information environment?' project (see also here and the Facebook link on the right of this page)
  • I am a member of the core tutorial team of York St John University's MA in Consultancy for Mission and Ministry through the York Institute for Community Theology
  • I supervise students working towards their Professional Doctorate in Practical Theology at Birmingham and Anglia Ruskin Universities
  • I am an External Examiner for the Nazarene College in Didsbury, Manchester
  • I have worked with Melbourne School of Theology, Melbourne, Australia, as they consider how to develop their online provision
